Enter your batches and daily sales to see what the aged inventory surcharge could cost over the coming months. The tool sells your oldest units first, the way Amazon counts age, and checks each snapshot on the 15th. Watch the 271-day mark, where the rate jumps from $1.50 to $5.45 per cubic foot.

Projected surcharge
When each batch reaches each band
What you can do
- Submit a removal or disposal order by 11:59 PM PT on the 14th to keep those units out of that month's surcharge.
- Age is counted first-in, first-out across Amazon's whole network, so each sale comes off your oldest units first.
- Review inventory age on the FBA Inventory page in Seller Central before the 14th, while you still have time to act.
- Plan sell-through so batches clear before 271 days, where the rate jumps from $1.50 to $5.45 per cubic foot.
How the math works
- Daily sales stay flat across the whole projection. Days with no stock on hand have no sales.
- Sales come off the oldest units first, across all batches.
- A batch with a future receive date only starts selling once it arrives.
- Age is counted from the receive date you enter and checked at each snapshot on the 15th.
- From 366 days on, each unit is charged the greater of the per cubic foot rate or the per-unit rate.
- Not included: monthly storage fees (the surcharge is charged on top of them), new inbound stock or removals.
Rates: Amazon 2026 US published rates, checked Oct 2026.
